  4.    If, for some reason, you don't like your font, or need to
  5.    clear out all characters, then the New function is for you.
  6.  
  7.    If you select New, all characters in the current set will be
  8.    erased, or set to all pixels OFF.  The minor danger here is
  9.    that if you do this, and then use the View Font function,
  10.    you won't see anything but an empty grey screen.  If this
  11.    happens, simply hit the ESC key to return to the edit screen.

  17.    To clear out the current font, left-click the New button on
  18.    the control panel.  You will then be greeted by a verifica-
  19.    tion window.  If you did in fact intend to erase the entire
  20.    font and clear it out, then left-click the OK button.  If
  21.    you did not intend to do this, then left-click the CANCEL
  22.    button.  You will be returned to the edit screen when you
  23.    have selected one of these functions.

  29.    To clear out the current font, select the New function by
  30.    pressing the N key on your keyboard.  You will then be asked
  31.    to verify this operation.  If you did intend to clear out the
  32.    current font, the press the Enter key.  If you did not, and
  33.    selected it by mistake or changed your mind, then press the
  34.    ESC key.  In either case, you will be returned to the edit
  35.    screen.
